Life coaching is less about exploring or helping you solve your personal problems and more about helping you achieve your goals and ambitions. It’s an important function of a personal life coach to help you clarify your actual rather than perceived goals and explore any blocks that prevent you from reaching them or experiencing a sense of achievement or success.

Sometimes during our work there is an inevitable crossover into the area of counselling and psychotherapy. Some of the things that block life’s successes big or small are linked to a person’s psychological history, traumas, life long habits, patterns and ways of thinking and being. While you may not want to explore those issues in counselling, it’s helpful to be aware of their presence in your daily life so you can make the necessary adjustments. As a counsellor and psychotherapist I am best placed to utilise my professional skills to balance the process of goal orientated coaching and ensure you remain psychologically on track.
